Mr. David Miskiewicz is a recognized industry expert with over twenty five years of experience in the nuclear power industry. Mr. Miskiewicz has extensive industry involvement with leading, presenting, and instructional roles, and he has served on numerous industry committees. Mr Miskiewicz served as Chairman of the NEI Fire PRA Task Force, and was also a member of the ASME PSA Standard Addendum B writing team. Mr. Miskiewicz served as the PRA Lead at Progress Energy, including development and application of Fire PRAs to support transition of the Progress Energy nuclear fleet to NFPA-805, which included an industry pilot plant – Shearon Harris. Mr. Miskiewicz has extensive experience developing and running PRA software, including EPRI R&R, ePSA, online risk monitoring, HRA calculator, fire scenario evaluation, and component risk ranking.

Mr. Miskiewicz served as the PRA Lead at Progress Energy, including development and application of Fire PRAs to support transition of the Progress Energy nuclear fleet to NFPA-805, which included an industry pilot plant – Shearon Harris.

Mr. Miskiewicz has additional experience with systems and design engineering activities including work related to radioactive waste management, spent fuel storage, reactor internals and reactor vessel integrity.
